Evann sits down with personal jeweler Trish Carruth to talk about all of the things that shine and sparkle. Trish is a third-generation jeweler in Detroit. Her grandfather was the owner of The Gold Mine, which was a fine jewelry pawn shop located on the city’s east side near downtown. Through her time working at his shop, she learned the ins and outs of the trade.

Trish decided that she wanted to make an impact on the industry in a big way, which led her to create Your Personal Jeweler. She specializes in creating custom pieces for her clients at prices that big-box retailers certainly can’t compete with.
